Having an online business requires a definite skill set. Your customers are buying from you ‘sight unseen’. In order for them to do that it takes a certain level of trust. Trust that you should have built up with them, prior to them purchasing from you.
So just how do you go about building that trust?
“If you build it – they will come”
Well that might be true of a baseball field but it’s not necessarily true of a blog or website. You may have the best site in the world with the most amazing products but if nobody knows about it you are simply whistling in the wind!
If you are doing the same thing over and over again, you should ideally take the time to write a ‘How To’, step by step guide so that you could easily pass the task off to someone else.
Now, you may not want to pass the task off to anyone at this stage in your business because you’re not ready or funds don’t allow you to. But getting into the habit of writing down your systems is a great way to eliminate disorder and chaos from your business.
To be successful in business you need to be decisive!
As an entrepreneur the only person to blame for a bad decision is the person looking back at you in the mirror. You’ve heard the expression ‘The Buck Stops Here!’ If you want to have others look to you for guidance and advice you need to stop the blame game and learn to make and own your own decisions!
How do you view roadblocks?
Are they going to kill your dream or are they just something that you need to find a way around?
Similarly, that door that just shut in your face, whether it was the loss of a job or a failed endeavour, is it going to stop you in your tracks?
Every exit is an entrance somewhere else!

But surprisingly enough it is one page that is sadly lacking from a lot of blogs.
It amazes me sometimes just how many jerks there are online!
You work hard to build your blog, fanpage or YouTube channel and offer your content to the world – whatever the topic…
But there are always those people (you know the ones) that think it is perfectly acceptable to hide behind their computers and say nasty things on your blog or in emails!
How would you describe people like that…
Rude, Nasty, Trolls, Spiteful, Vicious, Flamers, Meanies, Unkind, Bitchy, Not Very Nice, Jerks, Bastards!
