We’re pleased to launch our second site of the week – the newly revamped eCommerce store for db silversmith designs!
Diane Smith, the owner of db silversmith designs has been a longstanding client of Maple Moon and this is the third website we have built together. The last site was getting a little outdated and not the most responsive as it was built back in 2010. So it was time for an update.
Diane creates the most amazing artisan, silver jewellery at her studio in downtown Port Perry. She wanted to start marketing more of her jewellery online and increase her online sales.
We kept the colour scheme inline with db silversmith’s established branding and we created an eCommerce store using WooCommerce and WordPress. The store also offers gift certificates that can be redeemed both online and in store. Setup with a custom plugin. The site has a ‘wishlist’ facility where shoppers can save their favourite items to a wishlist to compare or save before purchase. Ideal to send to a loved one when you want to drop some hints for gifts!
We created some custom ‘how-to’ videos as tutorials for Diane so she can easily manage her store herself and she has a care plan in place to protect her investment and keep it up to date and secure.
